ALUMNI REUNIONS

“What ever happened with so-and-so?” and “Do you remember what’s-his-name?  He was a junior when we were freshmen, right?”  We all hear questions like that at reunions!  Along with those is the common parting comment, “We should get together more often.”

Alums have told us that, when they come back to La Salle for reunions, they are really hopeful to see lots of their old friends and former teachers.  Alums have also told us that they wished they could see people in classes before and after their own.  After all, you played together on sports teams, performed together in plays, worked together on rallies.  A reunion is not just about being a class, important as that is.  A reunion is also about being Lancers together.

Alumni suggested that we respond by changing the way we hold reunions at La Salle.  So, that is exactly what the Alumni Association has done.  Instead of traditional anniversary year reunions, the Alumni Association now hosts Decades Reunion and for the past three years this change has been a huge success with the Decades of the '60s, 70s and 80s.

So Decade of the '90s it's your turn.  In 2011 the Decade of the '90s (Classes 1990-1999) and your favorite faculty members are invited back to campus for a reunion like no other.  If you are interested in serving as a Reunion Rep or for more information, please contact the Director of Alumni Relations, Kristen Schultz ’98, at 626.696.4362 or kschultz@lasallehs.org
